- A printer that prints one page of graphics or text at
a time, it ejects that page and then it feeds in the next page that will be
printed. With the popularity of ink jet printers and laser printers now
these kinds of printers are the most widely used printers.
page setup
- Parameters that can be defined by the user that help
determine how a printed page will appear. This includes margins, size,
page orientation and quality of print. The page setup box is usually found
in the file drop down menu.
paper feed
- There are different kinds of paper feeding. Some ink
jet and other page printers feed the paper through the printer with rollers
that take and move the paper through the printer. Dot matrix printers feed
paper through pins on a wheel that take and slowly move the paper through
the printer.
pcl
- Pcl is short for printer control language. It is the
command language developed by Hewlett Packard for their inkjet and laser
printers.
